Welcome Back: Law Society Meeting Wednesday 9/12

Hey all,

On behalf of the executive board, I would like to give you a warm welcome back to campus and hope that your semester has been off to a great start so far! The Law Society has a lot of great things planned for this year, and we’re kicking it off this Wednesday with our first meeting of the year. We’ll be meeting in Paresky 220 at 8pm for our Law Society Meet & Greet. Come and meet other law society members, find out what were doing this year, ask questions, and make some friends. Our meetings will generally be every Wednesday at 8pm in Paresky 220 this year, unless otherwise notified.

In other news, the Law Journal committee will be having an informational meeting on Thursday (September 13th) by Baxter Fireplace in Paresky from 7-7:30pm.

In addition there will be team meetings for those planning to, or interested in joining the law teams (mock trial and moot court) this year. That will take place in Paresky 112 on Sunday, September 16th. The Moot Court team will be having its meeting at 1:30pm, followed by the Mock Trial team at 2:30pm. If you cannot make the meeting, but would still like to join the team, please email Yazmine Nichols, ycn1.

We always welcome your questions, comments, concerns, and especially suggestions, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
